# Echo Stats Finder

I worked on Echo Stats Finder with Silveridge, connecting a Python desktop app to Echo VR and VR Master League so players could look up the people they were playing with.

Project setup, networking, testing and structure. Silveridge built the GUI and navigation.

Working on this meant joining two different views of the same player, as the headset knew who was in the current match while VR Master League held their team and league information, and the app let you search either starting point, with the player name providing the connection between a live match and a separate set of league records.

I handled the requests and player lookups, and Silveridge put those results into a PyQt interface with separate views for league searches and public matches, including more detailed team information.

We packaged Windows releases in November 2021, with connection instructions for both PC and standalone headset users, so the tool could be used outside the development environment.

The catalogue date follows the first preserved release on 10 November 2021.

## Outcome

The project reached downloadable Windows releases, with player and public-match searching implemented. Ignite integration and automatic searching remained separate follow-up work.
